Investment by Class and Workshop

Choose a class or workshop to see its investment. Classes are paid by single drop-in, at the monthly rate, or for the full season up front, and each season runs three months. Workshops are a one-time price per person.

Investment figures are placeholders pending the dance home's final rates. Sibling discounts apply to additional children in our regular classes.

What to Expect

Walking into a new dance ministry can feel like a lot. Here is what life looks like at Dwell, so you and your dancer can show up feeling right at home.

  • Comfortable, stretchy clothes your dancer can move freely in, plus ballet shoes or bare feet depending on the class.
  • Your very first class is a warm welcome, no pressure to be perfect, just come and see if it feels like home.
  • Faith is gently woven into every class through the music, the themes, and the discussions had in class.
  • A real dance curriculum with achievements for every dancer to reach. Technique is introduced gently yet effectively, always with encouragement that uplifts each dancer to see herself as the Lord does.
  • Every dancer takes the stage three times a year, two seasonal recitals plus a final theatrical showcase.
  • A kind, encouraging environment where every dancer is known by name and cheered on as she grows.
  • Parents are warmly welcome to stay and watch the first class, an invitation to experience how Dwell does things and ease in warmly together.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question we did not cover here? We would love to hear from you.

Can I pay per session instead of for the year?
Yes. There are three ways to pay: a single drop-in class to try things out, enrollment at the monthly rate, or paying for the full season up front. A season runs three months. Because enrolling is a commitment for the season you join, monthly tuition is not month-to-month cancellable, so everyone can plan the season with confidence. We are always glad to help you choose what fits your family.
Do you offer a trial class?
Yes. The best way to know if Dwell is the right fit is to come and dance with us. Book a single drop-in class, meet our team, and see how your dancer feels in the room before committing to anything more.
What should my dancer wear?
Comfortable, stretchy clothing your dancer can move and reach in, with hair pulled back out of the face. For ballet, soft ballet shoes are ideal, and many of our lyrical and worship classes are danced barefoot. When in doubt, come as you are and we will help you sort out the rest.
Do you have sibling discounts?
We do. We are a family-first ministry and we want dance to be within reach for the whole household, so sibling and multi-class discounts are available. Reach out and we will walk you through the options for your family.
How many performances do dancers get each year?
Three. Where many places give dancers a single yearly recital, Dwell offers two seasonal recitals plus a final theatrical showcase, so your dancer gets more time on stage to grow in confidence and share what worship through movement looks like. The final showcase is our biggest night, set to a Bible story or an original psalm of movement, and the whole community is invited to share in it. Full-year families have their showcase costume included.
What ages do you serve?
We have a class for nearly every age. Creative Movement welcomes little ones ages 3 to 5, Ballet & Technique serves ages 6 to 12, and Lyrical & Contemporary is open to dancers 10 and up. Our Worship Dance class is truly for everyone, including grown women and moms who want a space to move and praise.
